The Walking Shop was opened in 2000 by Chris Gaunt (contact info for Chris can be found in ‘Links’) and is now owned and run by Fiona Thomson & Bob Manners
We are a Premier Stockist of Zamberlan products & stock a comprehensive range of Brasher footwear and accessories. To complement these we have budget and children’s boots & shoes supplied by Johnscliffe. We also keep Craghoppers & Regatta clothing, Trek-mates accessories, Smartwool socks, Superfeet insoles and various maps & guidebooks
All our boots & shoes & most of our clothing are discounted by 10 – 15% of the recommended retail price. This normally results in £10 - £20 off boots, £5 - £15 off shoes and £5 - £20 off clothing
We will be pleased to dispatch any item in stock and can normally fulfil specific non-stock requirements from any of our suppliers mentioned above. We are committed to keeping our part-time Post Office operating in Osmotherley and send all packages via the Royal Mail. Unless requested orders will be sent out at second class / standard package rates – for speedier deliveries or to send items abroad please contact us by telephone or e-mail
