In the current trading year April to November sales are up 23%. The projected full year turnover is expected to be in the region of £295,000, including VAT (£253,000 excluding VAT), giving a gross profit margin of 40% to 42% (gross profit margin year ended April 5th 2007, 42%)

It is in an absolutely unique location for this kind of business. A super lifestyle in a great National Park village. A prosperous, fast growing, easily run shop and internet business, providing a very good living.

As can be seen from this web site the principal activity is the sale of walking boots, shoes, clothing and outdoor related products.

We have a healthy and thriving retail shop with growing sales. A very strong and loyal customer base ( the reason we want to sell it as a going concern ) and good all year round trade from visiting holiday makers and walkers. We are in the National Park in a very popular village. The village is situated on two long distance national footpaths. The Coast to Coast and the Cleveland Way. It is also the start/finish of the Lyke Wake Walk challenge walk.

We have a very fast growing internet business which has endless potential to develop further. We have again a good relationship with customers and are building repeat business and long term contacts with them.

We have very good working partnerships with our main suppliers and they would be anxious to continue working with a new ownership.

In the event of a sale I would be happy to work alongside the new owners until they are happy and confident with all aspects of the business.
